NNA works closely with the following organizations in order to help improve our community and City.

Wesley House

The Wesley House has continued as one of St. Louis metropolitan area’s longest standing social service agencies. Providing a safe haven for young people, and people who are young at heart, the Wesley house continues to operate under its founding principles: supporting the community, respecting our elders, and preserving our future.

St. Louis Dream Center

The St. Louis Dream Center is a thriving, multi-cultural, urban church of over 700 people changing the face of the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Each week, the St. Louis Dream Center reaches out to thousands of people through Street Ministry, Adopt-A-Block, Nursing Home Ministry, KidzJam, and other initiatives.

Operation Brightside

Brightside St. Louis’ mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by educating, engaging, and inspiring St. Louisans to make the region cleaner, greener, and more environmentally sustainable.

Community Development Administration of the City of St. Louis

The Community Development Administration exists to do the following:

  • Administer federal funds for housing, community, and economic development      programs that strengthen the City of St. Louis and its neighborhoods
  • Work with the St. Louis Development Corporation and the Planning and      Urban Design Agency to carry our community and economic development      programs according to a 5-year Consolidated Plan
  • Partner with local government agencies, non-profit organizations, and      private firms to carry out housing development, home repair, business and      economic development, public facility improvement, historic preservation,      and social service programs

Affordable Housing Commission of the City of St. Louis

The mission of the Affordable Housing Commission of the City of St. Louis is “To promote City living and neighborhood stabilization through the preservation and production of affordable, accessible housing and support services that enhance the quality of life for those in need.”

The Commission provides grants and loans to non-profit agencies and developers that provide housing related services or construction/rehab housing for city residents earning 80% or below the area median income.

St. Louis ReCAST

St. Louis ReCAST, which stands for Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma, is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in order to fund projects in the St. Louis region that target the priority areas of violence prevention, youth engagement, peer support, mental health, and trauma-informed care.

The goals of ReCAST are to: “build a foundation to promote well-being, resiliency, and community healing; improve access to trauma-informed community behavioral health resources and youth peer support; and create community change using a community-based participatory approach”.
