Tomorrow (Saturday 3/31) at 9am at the O’Fallon Park Rec Plex (O’Fallon Park YMCA at 4343 W. Florissant), North Newstead Association will be hosting a Crime Prevention Summit. Mayor Krewson, Police Chief John Hayden, and Neighborhood Development Executive Dottie McDowell will be among the special guest presenters. Free continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

- Please have your bracket filled out BEFORE 9am Thursday 3/15. The NCAA men’s basketball tournament first round starts at 11:15am that same day.
- It is $20 to buy-in to our bracket challenge. We accept cash and check (made out to North Newstead Association). Please send your buy-in to North Newstead Association at 4601 Pope Ave., St. Louis, MO 63115.
- The overall winner will get half of the total pot and NNA will use the remaining half to support our neighborhood cleanups and other events benefiting communities throughout St. Louis.

Please join us for the first of two Crime Prevention Summits. On March 31st, St. Louis Metro Police Department Chief of Police Hayden, St. Louis City Mayor Lyda Krewson, Neighborhood Development Executive Dottie McDowell, and representatives from SLACO, Employment Connection, and the Neighborhood Stabalization Team will speak with north side residents about safety concerns and how we can collectively work to address them.
